Louis Hershal Lagars, Jr.

Funeral services honoring the life of Louis Hershal Lagars, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Sister Heather English and Rev. Pat Cobb. Interment will follow at New Rockdale Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Louis was born on September 11, 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Louis H. Lagars, Sr and Melva Lagars. He entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2020 in Logansport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis H. Lagars, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Courtney Lagars, Sr. and Roxie Lagars; maternal grandparents, William Jefferson Hazlett and George Irine Brown Hazlett. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Terry Susan Lagars; mother, Melva Lagars; sons, Jeremy Shane Tingle and wife Donisa and Victor Brian Tingle and wife Edie; daughters, Stacie Lynn Tingle Lovett and husband Bubba, Connie Marie Lagars and Bradley, and Kristi Sheree Lagars and Charlie; brother, Ronald Wayne Lagars; grandchildren, Taylor Tingle, Zachary Robertson, Rebecca Spears, Luke Tingle, Haylee Tingle, Hannah Farris, Christopher Farris, Grayson Tingle, Anna Tingle, Remy Chism and Aiden Chism; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Gentry, Wesson Spears, and Raelynn Spears. Honoring Louis as pallbearers will be Christopher Farris, Shane Tingle, Thomas Straus, Bubba Lovett, Steve Woods, Brandon Lagars, Victor Tingle, and Zachary Robertson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mike White, Charlie Evans, and Shane Taylor.
