Louis was born on August 29, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Louis E. Parvino, Sr. and Sarah Parvino and passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 in Shreveport.
Louis was a resident of Shreveport. He was a very loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Louis retired after 42 years in the trucking business. Louis loved the Lord and loved teaching and preaching about Him. He was licensed to preach in 1980. The plan of salvation was very important to him and studying God’s word was also so important. His favorite book to read was the Bible. At the time of his death, Louis was teaching a group of senior men which he truly loved.
Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. Parvino, Sr. and Sarah Parvino; brother, Gerald Parvino; and son, Thomas Lyle Parvino. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Linda B. Parvino; son, Troy Devin Parvino and wife, DeeAnn; sister, Carolyn Parvino O’Neal and husband, Larry; brother-in-law, Clyde W. Brossette, Jr. and wife, Donna; three precious grandchildren, Andrew, Emily and Rachel. Louis was very proud of his grandchildren and all their accomplishments. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
The family would like to express special thanks to Progressive Care Center for the wonderful care and compassion given to Louis and for the awesome care given him at Willis-Knighton North.
