Louise McAnn

Louise Hanisee McAnn, 94, entered into heaven on February 27, 2018. Louise was born in Vicksburg, MS to Henry and Delia Hanisee. She spent a long career working with Illinois Central Railroad where she met her beloved husband, George McAnn. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Laura Hanisee, Herb and Irene Hanisee and her sisters, Baby Hilda Hanisee and Bobbie Hanisee Adams. Louise is survived by her nieces and nephews of the Bossier City Hanisees, Pat, Boogie, Sister, Ginny, Theresa, Clem, Larry, Paula, Henry, Christine and Bobbie Sue; the California Hanisees, Mike and Mark; David Adams and Donna Adams Whitaker from Shreveport and numerous grand nieces and nephews. Louise was the last of her generation and will be missed. Viewing will be at 1:00pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Bossier City with the Mass to follow at 2:00pm on Monday, March 5. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS on Tuesday, March 6 at 1:30pm. The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for her over the past several years. In addition, we would like to thank Dr. Balogh and the staff of Garden Court for their compassionate care.
