Lucille Dill

Funeral services for Lucille Dill, 67, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Donald Litton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2018 at the funeral home. Lucille was born November 9, 1950 and went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was the best and sweetest woman you could ever know. She loved her family unconditionally and treated all her nieces and nephews as her own. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, John Dill; parents, Bobbie and Lee Irvin whom she loved very much; brother, Lonnie Irvin; sister, Jeanette Niette; nephew, Keith Irvin; mother-in-law, Lilla; and father-in-law, Lenard. Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Johnny Dill and wife Linda of Blanchard, LA and brothers, Wallace Irvin and Jimmy Irvin of Shreveport, LA and Ray Irvin of Allen, LA. Honoring Lucille as pallbearers will be Vince Irvin, Mann Irvin, Robby Hill, Zach Irvin, Mason Smith, and Mike Roach. Honorary pallbearers will be Odis Freeman, Dakota Irvin, and Geoff Jones. The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedysis Hospice staff and all who cared for her.
