Lucille Magart

Graveside services for Lucille B. Magart, 96, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the NW LA Veterans Cemetery with Chaplain Henry Crooms officiating. Lucille was born May 14, 1922 in Florien, LA to Neely and Carrie Byrd and went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2018 in Shreveport. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur William Magart; and brother, Lincoln Byrd. Left to cherish her memory are her son, David Magart; daughter, Cynthia Martini; grandchildren, Cody Alan Jennings and Cassidy Aaron Jennings; and brothers, Neely Howard Byrd and Harold Byrd. Memorials may be made to the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. The family would like to give a special thanks to Nightengale Hospice for their care. Their service to Lucille and the family has been a great blessing.
