Lucille Magdaline McGill

SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of Lucille Chenault McGill, 78, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Haughton Cemetery, Hwy 157, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Franklin Walker. Lucille was born on July 11, 1937 in Cheneyville, LA to Thomas Franklin, Sr. and Alice Annette Barnidge Chenault and passed away on December 2, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, son Mickey Meader, brother Thomas Franklin Chenault, Jr., and sister Wanda Mae Wilson. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years Royce McGill; sons, Wayne Meader and wife, Brenda, Calvin McGill and wife, Katherine, Royce McGill, Jr. and wife, Barbara, Rusty McGill and wife, Dawn; daughter, Shannon Meader; seventeen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; step-sister, Margaret Henderson, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Honoring Lucille as pallbearers will be Les Davis, Bo McGill, Jeremy Meader, Rob Meader, Daniel Pope, Bubba Wilson.
