Lucille C. Moreno SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Lucille C. Moreno will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. John Berchmans Cathedral with Monsignor Carson LaCaze officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Lucille was born on April 11, 1932 in Dilley, Texas. She was a loving mother who has lived a full life and was a fighter until the end. She raised her nine children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Polk; father, Charlie Corona; husband, Frank Moreno; son, Julian Soto; and daughter Junita Buchanan. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard DeLeon, Robert Moreno, David Corona, Romaldo Garcia, Jessie Moreno, and Joe Corona; daughters, Mary Fatheree, Frances Clevenger, and Elizabeth Moreno; her siblings, Alice Garcia, Julie Garcia, Nellie Garcia, Mark DeLeon, Roosevett DeLeon, and Joe Deleon; and 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Honoring Lucille as pallbearers will be Charles Corona, Darien Corona, Joseph Wayne DeLeon, Mark DeLeon, Shane Moreno, Joshua Schnider, and Savarra Thomas.
