Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Lucy Katherine Bice will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, Louisiana. Lucy was born on March 30, 1916 to her parents Douglas and Katie Carnahan. She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Katie Carnahan; daughter Patricia (Patsy) B Nichols; and brother Douglas E. Carnahan. Lucy worked at Nichols Department Store, she was well known to the public eye. Lucy worked till she was 80 and was a very hard working women. Lucy is survived by her grandchildren, Kathy Nichols, Samuel Nichols and wife Corrie, Harvey Nichols and wife Bridgett; great grandchildren, Zachary Fletcher, Courtney McDaniel, Cole Nichols, Austin Nichols, Emily Green, Jacob Nichols, and Joshua Nichols. Those honoring the life of Lucy Katherine Bice pallbearer are Mark Bice, Harvey Nichols, Larry Bice, Austin Nichols, Zachary Fletcher, Cole Nichols, Lonnie Dunn, and Bubba English. Honorary pallbearers will be Chewy Stephens and Johnny Stephens. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Garden Park Nursing home for the love, dedication, and for taking care of their grandmother
