Luther Harvey Barnett, Jr.

Luther Harvey Barnett, Jr., age 64, passed away January 26, 2021 in Homer, Louisiana. Luther was born November 30, 1956 in Berlin, Wisconsin to Luther Barnett, Sr. and Sally Crowder Barnett. Luther proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He worked for many years as a pipefitter in refineries. Luther loved to be outdoors, enjoyed camping, and being at the lake. He also enjoyed going to the Casino. Luther's greatest enjoyment in life though, was his granddaughters. They were his pride and joy in life. Luther is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Sally Barnett, his brothers Kenneth Barnett and David Barnett, and by his sister Katherine Little. Those left to cherish his memories, the mother of his children Linda Dennis, his sons "Booder" Luke Barnett and Joshua Barnett and wife Christen, sisters Shirley Dupre and husband Chester and Karen Blade and husband Ronald "Dewberry", grandchildren Brieanna, Lissa, Dixie, Hayden, and Jordan, and by numerous other nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A memorial for Luther will be held at a later date.
