Lydia Frances Douglas

Coushatta, LA Celebration of life and going home service for Lydia Frances Douglas, 66, was held Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Coushatta Chapel at 11:00 AM with Reverend Mike McNatt officiating. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Haughton, LA. Visitation was held Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Lydia was born April 24, 1949 in Egland Field, FL and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2015, in Shreveport, LA. During her lifetime, she loved the outdoors, was a loving sister, and adored her nephew and great nieces. Preceding her in death were parents, Silas Knight Douglas, Jr. and Ada Frances Baldwin Douglas. Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Helen Douglas Erwin and boyfriend Bobby Redmond and Shelly Douglas Clift and husband Tim; nephew, Tyler Douglas Clift and wife Krystalyne; and great nieces, Kayla and Kambrie Clift. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff of Green Meadow Haven Nursing Home for their care of their loved one and also Freedom Worship Baptist Church for their love and support.
