BIVINS, TX - Funeral services celebrating the life of Lynette Bell Holley, age 61 will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 1st at The Potter's House, 15427 Highway One South, Vivian, LA with Rev. W. J. Holland, Bishop of the First Pentecostal Church in Hammond, La officiating, assisted by Rev. James Renfro. The family will have a private interment at a later date. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 1st at 2:00 PM until service time at the church.
Mrs. Holley was born in Frankfurt, Germany (military) to James Jackson and Joann Powell Bell and passed away July 28, 2015 at Willis Knighton, North following a brief illness. She was a member of The Potter's House in Vivian where she served as secretary.
Preceding Mrs. Holley in death are her parents, James Bell and Joann Hebert, grandmother, Idell Powell and brother, Derwin Bell. She is survived by her spouse of 44 years, Rev. C. V. Holley of Bivins, TX and her daughter, Cecilia Holley of Vivian, LA.
Honoring Mrs. Holley, as pallbearers will be Rev. Danny Davis, Austin Nichols, Kendell Womack, Jeff Smith, Rev. Thurman Covey, Jr. and Rev. Jerry Hicks.
The family has requested that donations be made to the building fund at The Potter's House, 103 Northside Drive, Vivian, LA. 71082.
