A graveside inurnment honoring the life of Lynn Harvey will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana.
Lynn Harvey was born October 9, 1956 in Macon, Georgia and passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Lynn graduated from Dover Air Force Base High School and worked for 16 years in the Avionics Department at Metro Aviation. As many would know, Lynn was a fun, loving, supportive mother and grandmother and was excited about becoming a great-grandmother in January. She was a staple for many on the softball field and was often referred to as \"Team Mom\". She was fierce and very outspoken but never knew a stranger. Anyone that met her instantly fell in love with her personality and charisma. If you were a friend of her children, you became her child as well. Whether it be cheering you on at a softball or basketball game, dancing and singing, being a chauffeur or taking you in because you had nowhere else to go, she made you feel like one of her own. Many of her children\'s friends would come to know her as \"Mama Harvey\". She will be deeply missed by many but never forgotten.
Lynn is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Moore and aunt, Lois Edwards.
Left to cherish her memory are her father, Ralph Moore; son, Joey Morton and his father, Joseph Morton; daughter, Melissa Watkins and husband, Aadrien, and her father, Robert Harvey, Jr.; brothers, Darrell Phillips and wife, Roseann, and Bobby Moore and wife, Sheila; aunt, Ann Anstutz; grandchildren, Bryanna, Dlijah, Kenzie, Kain, Tyler, and Trenton and all those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Willis-Knighton Medical Center, Dr. David Hamm, Cornerstone Hospital and Dr. Attila Balogh for their care and compassion.
