Funeral services for Mack Carroll Harville Sr., 84, will be held Friday, July 14, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Brother Scott O’Rear.
Mack was born on October 22, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 10, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Affectionately known as Baby, Poppa and Daddy, Mack loved with all of his heart. Mack was a long-time member of Belle Park Baptist Church where he loved serving the Lord and using his many talents to help others in need. He was known for making personalized key chains and being very talented with his sewing. He once made over 500 dresses for Romanian orphans.
Mack owned and operated Mack’s Radiator in Shreveport, Louisiana for over 30 years. He never met a stranger and made many loyal and meaningful friendships over the years. He loved traveling with his beautiful wife of 29 years. He enjoyed camping, cruising and taking care of his chickens.
Mack is preceded in death by his father Thomas Fair Harville II; mother, Georgie Yates Harville; brothers, Thomas Fair Harville III, Eugene Marcell Harville; and son, Wiley David Harville. He is survived by the love of his life, best friend, and soulmate Ludy; sons, Mack C. Harville Jr., Robert T. Harville, Matthew K. Harville; daughter, Michelle H. Moore; bonus children, Brandi Moore and Brandon Wiggins; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Honoring Mack as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dylan Dudley, Kyle Harville, Matthew Harville, Hayden McBride, Hunter McBride, Garrett Wiggins and Gauge Wiggins.
The family would like to express special thanks to their church family and friends from Belle Park Baptist for their kindness, compassion and graciousness. The love and support they have shown the family will never be forgotten.
