Madeline G. DeWitt

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Memorial Service for Madeline Gale DeWitt, 62, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at The Town Hall in Blanchard, LA.

Gale was born February 13, 1954 in Houston, TX to Doris Marie Nelson Rabon and Lawrence Elton Rabon and passed away due to aggressive cancer, December 14, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. She loved to cook for her family and friends, and was a fan of Dallas and LSU football teams. Gale especially loved good ole southern "Rock and Roll". She loved her husband, children and grandchildren, all that knew and loved Gale will truly miss her.

Preceding Gale death is her parents, her husband of 30 years Robert DeWitt; her sisters, Gretchen Rabon, and Charlotte Woods. Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Monica Madrigal and husband, Richard of Shreveport, LA, Kelly Strother and husband, Steven of Shreveport, LA, Melanie DeWitt of Shreveport, LA; step-sons, Brandon Thomason, Christopher Thomason; grandchildren, Taylor Thompson and husband Anthony, Erin Madrigal, Baleigh Madrigal, Austin DeWitt and wife Sandy, Macy DeWitt, and Jacob Wakefield; sisters, Linda Todd and husband Thurman "Buck" of Greenwood, LA, Debbie Calvert and husband Jack of Tulsa, OK, Beverly Barton and husband James of Ooltewah, TN, Pamela Hairston and husband, Dwayne of Plain Dealing, LA, Ouida Rabon of Shreveport, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
