Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Maebelle Barber, 97, will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Charles Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Barber Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM. Maebelle was born on December 16, 1918 in Dillard, GA to Joseph and Zora Henry Teems and passed away on September 12, 2016 in Mansfield, LA. Preceding Maebelle in death is her husband John Wesley Barber; parents, Joseph and Zora Teems; sons, Jerry Clyde Teems, Johnny Lamar Barber, Herman Dean Barber; grandchildren, John Gavin Barber, Lloyd Wesley Smith, Heath Brian Shahan, Terri Lynn Spicer, and son-in-law, Clint Shahan. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia Smith and husband Leonard from Carmel, LA, Connie Smith and husband Roy from Converse, LA, Donnie Barber and wife Susan from Converse, LA, Cynthia Barber Gallien from Natchitoches, LA, Reba Barber Shahan from Logansport, LA, Curtis Barber from Converse, LA; daughter-in-law's, Teresa Barber from Converse, LA, Delores Barber from Many, LA; grandchildren, Beverly Gatlin and husband Ronnie, Kimberly De LaGarza, Jerry Teems, Jr., Julie Thomas and husband Terry, Greg Barber and wife Denise, Sharon Farris and husband Eddie, Sonya Sharrow and husband Raymond, James Barber and wife Melanie, Kenny Shoebrook, Roy Smith, Jr and wife Shelly, Kevin Smith, Wesley Joe Barber and wife Amy, Josh Barber, Brandi Williams and husband Rodney, Chris Gallien, Megan Gallien, Brad Shahan and wife Christy, 30 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren.
