Maggie LaVell DuHamel

Maggie LaVell DuHamel, age 99, of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away on December 20, 2024. She was born on May 23, 1925, in Fisher, Louisiana to the late William Thomas and Nancy Exa Horton.

A graveside service honoring the life of Maggie will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2024, located at Stonewall Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Leonard Lindsay. Honoring Maggie as pallbearers will be Scott Beason, Keith Milam, Ryan Greco, Jason Lindsay, Codie Lindsay, and Ethan Adams. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chris Johniken, Jonathan Lindsay, and Isaac Fox.

Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Wesley DuHamel; granddaughter, Katherin Johniken; son-in-law, Rickey Johniken; and seven sisters. She is survived by her son, John Michael DuHamel and wife, Donna; daughters, Brenda Lindsay and husband, Leonard, Electa Sue Johniken, and Patricia Greco and husband, Ronnie; seven grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
