Maggie Theola Tingle

Funeral services for Maggie Theola Thomas Tingle, 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. David Radford officiating. Assisting with services will be Jerry Gill and Chris Lowe. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery near Hall Summit, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Theola was born December 28, 1927 in Coushatta, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2018 in Gloster, LA. Theola was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence A. Thomas and Rosie A. Giddings Thomas; brothers, Everett Thomas and Lamar Thomas; sisters, Loretta Thomas Bamburg, Alice Thomas Gill, and Margaret Thomas; and children, Jenifer Mary Tingle and Linda Tingle. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Horace M. Tingle; son, Stephen Tingle and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Tammy Nicole Tingle Lowe and husband Chris; grandson, Stephen Shaw Tingle; great-grandson, Jeremiah Christopher Lee Lowe; and sister, Mercille Thomas Sullivan and husband Ray. Honoring Theola as pallbearers are Andy Sims, Donnie Joe Matthews, Kenny Thomas, Rodney Thomas, Alan Edwards, and Kyle Broughton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Thomas, Randy Tingle, David Tingle, and Jerry Walker. The family would like to give thanks to Superior Hospice for the wonderful love and care they provided. A special thanks to Mary Haley for her compassionate service and support to our family.
