Maisie Mesh Williams was born in Buchans, Newfoundland on January 11, 1931 to Walter Mesh and Carolina Bailey Mesh and passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Stonewall, Louisiana, where she sang in the choir. She had a true love of music. She loved life and lived it to it's fullest.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by husband, Carvel Williams; son, Jimmy Mills; daughter, Patricia Mills; her parents; two brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her children, Frank Mills and wife Linda, Vonnie Branch and Garland, Cynthia Tate and husband Bill, Deborah Murray and husband Carlton, Barbara Lee, Kathy Bentzler and husband Bobby; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and the Mills Family.

A private family graveside service will be held this week and a memorial service celebrating Maisie's life will be held at a later date.
