Margaret Jean Heidecker

Funeral services for Margaret Jean Chandler Heidecker, 86, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Brian Opbroek officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Margaret was born August 5, 1931 in Shreveport to Estes and Moise Chandler and passed away on February 8, 2018. She was a sports enthusiast who played softball all her life. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Charles "Bo" Heidecker; and sister, Pauline Lavender. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Helen Heidecker Billingsley; sons, Jerald O. (Jerry) Heidecker and Leonard Charles (Sonny) Heidecker, Jr.; brother, Marion (Mark) E. Chandler and wife Nann; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Billingsley, Jerry Heidecker, Mark Prymeck, and Tristen Cotton. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont, especially Michelle and Leann.
