KEITHVILLE, LA - Graveside services for Margaret Adcock Langlois, 96, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Rev. Cheryl Nelson will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral.
Margaret was born on December 29, 1919 in Doddridge, AR to W.B. and Ara Adcock and passed away on December 30, 2015. Margaret was the last surviving Charter member of Morningside Methodist Church of Shreveport and was a member of Summergrove Methodist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lionel Langlois, brother, Billy Gene Adcock, and sisters, June Stash and Myrt Thomas. She is survived by her son, L.J. Langlois; daughter, Joann Horton and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Theresa Horton Henry and husband, Jason, Keith Horton and wife, Erica, Lal Langlois, Brian Langlois and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Taylor Henry and Chance Henry, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Margaret as pallbearers will be Keith Horton, Lal Langlois, Brian Langlois, Jason Henry, Chance Henry, and Shelly Horton.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the ICU staff at Christus Highland Hospital and a very special thanks to Brenda at Riverview Care Center for all the love, care and support they gave our mother.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to Benton United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 4615 Palmetto Rd., Benton, LA 71006.
