Funeral services for Margaret Ann Noble, 75, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Haughton Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Rene' Moradel.
Margaret was born on October 1, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles Delmer Blankenship and Margaret Chambless and passed away at home Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Princeton, Louisiana.
Margaret was known for her cooking, she could make the best fried pies in this world. She was affectionately known as The Pie Lady. She enjoyed doing seamstress work, she made her family's clothes and even made a few wedding dresses.
Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Roberts; "Daddy", Luther Roberts and sister, Charlene Butcher. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Byron Eugene Noble; daughter, Margaret Ann Brookshire and husband, Earl; sons, Eugene Noble and Roy Noble and Marvin Murray; sister, Johnnie Ward and grandson, Sam Brookshire.
Honoring Margaret as pallbearers will be Earl Brookshire, James Butcher, Bill Chambless, Mark Chambless, Guillermo Quintanilla and Kenny Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
