Margaret Ann Rolland

SHREVEPORT, LA - A home-going celebration for Margaret Ann Rolland will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Providence Road Baptist Church, Springridge, La., where Margaret was a member. Officiating the service will be Steve Rainey, assisted by Pastor Darrell Dean. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Margaret was born August 4, 1931, in Bossier Parish, La. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Shreveport, La. Margaret was a dedicated LPN care-giver. She retired from her profession after 52 years of service. Margaret continued on this path by caring for her family and friends, always concerned for those around her. Though she was small in size, she had a big heart and a quick wit. Margaret is survived by husband; Buddy and the children of her heart, Georgianna Mitchell and family and Philip Rolland and family and numerous family members and friends. Buddy and her children would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to her \"favorites\", Kevin Rolland and Lance Rolland, for the love and care shown to Margaret over the years.
