Margie Bowman

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Coleman Bowman will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, prior to service. Burial will follow at Driskill Cemetery.

Margie was born January 16, 1930 in Lake Providence, Louisiana to George F. Coleman and Claudia Sandifer Coleman. She passed away on May 4, 2023 in Minden, Louisiana, with her loving family by her side.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, George and Claudia Coleman, husband Oscar Bowman, and by brothers Glen Coleman and Jack Coleman, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory her children Curtis Bowman, Sharon Lentini, and Sandy Bowman, grandchildren Greg Sutton, Phillip Bowman and wife Melissa, Mark Sutton and wife Shana, and Jeffery Bowman and wife Carrie, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brothers G.C. Coleman and wife Donna, and Donald Coleman and wife Mary Alice, sister Sylvia Williamson, and by many other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Sutton, Phillip Bowman, Mark Sutton, Jeffery Bowman, Sterling Bowman, and Casey Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Bowman and Bill Sims.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
