Funeral services for Margie Adams Neyland, 88, will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Dr. Cliff Estes.

Margie was born on April 1, 1936, to William and Mary Adams in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her home in Benton, Louisiana.

A proud graduate of Athens High School, Margie cultivated a distinguished career as a secretary for a dental lab. Her duties encompassed a variety of important responsibilities, including running errands and managing financial aspects, demonstrating her dedication and versatility in every task she undertook.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Margie was a woman of deep affection and a nurturing spirit. She found immense joy in spoiling her grandchildren, as well as everyone else she loved, reflecting her generous and kindhearted nature. Margie dedicated herself to her family and household, thoroughly enjoying her domestic duties, which included cooking and maintaining a warm and welcoming home. She also cherished the moments spent with her son, often visiting the local duck pond to feed the ducks—a simple yet profound expression of her love and commitment to fostering cherished memories.

Margie celebrated her proudest accomplishment on August 7, 1954, when she married her late husband, Bobby Lee Neyland. Their union was a testament to love that would endure through the years, creating a family foundation that was built on affection, respect, and shared values.

Margie Adams Neyland will be fondly remembered for her boundless love, her unwavering support, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with care and tenderness, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Mary Adams; husband, Bobby Lee Neyland; daughter, Derinda Soignier; siblings, Roy Lee Adams and wife, Patsy, and James Lloyd Adams, and wife, Doris. She is survived by her son, William Neyland; son-in-law, Stephen Soignier; grandsons, Jason Soignier, Corey Soignier and William Riley Neyland and wife, Sabrina; great-grandson, William Archer Neyland along with a host of family and friends. 

Honoring Margie as pallbearers will be Jason Soignier, Corey Soignier, Riley Neyland, Dewayne Adams, Jody Blackwell, and Chuck Neyland.
