Margie Wilson

Margie Wilson passed away April 13, 2025, after 100 years. Private services will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Southside. Officiating the service will be Minister Tim Thiele of Huntington Church of Christ.

Marge was born in Goliad, Texas to parents, Arthur and Lucy Parr. She worked with her husband George Wilson at Apex Supply Co. and retired after 40 years to tend to her husband who passed away in 2001. Her only son, Huey Long passed away in 2019. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Parr of Goliad, Texas. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Cantu and husband Frank, and Vicki Hamaoka and husband Kyle; five grandchildren, Velvet, Sheri, Angie, Brian, and Nicole; eight great-grandchildren, Macy, Madeline, Victoria, Will, Dayton, Maddox, Beau, and Carson; and two great-great grandchildren, Neely and Brody.
