Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Marguerite Cates will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Converse, LA. Visitation will be on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 10:00AM to 2:00 PM. Marguerite was born on May 26, 1918 to her parents Joseph and Lettie Dykes Marguerite Cates entered into rest on April 24, 2015 at her residence. Marguerite drove the school bus and worked in the cafeteria for Pleasant Hill School in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lettie Dykes; Husband, Arlon Cates; 2 brothers; 4 sisters, and son, Charles Arlon Cates. Marguerite is survived by sons, Ralph Vernon Cates, Donald Leo Cates; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren Those honoring the life of Marguerite as pallbearers will be Ronnie Vickers, Barry Vickers, Lee Cates, Thad George, Elton Johnson, Floyd Ford, Carl Dilbeck, Tyler Vickes, and Dennis Cates
