MARIE GLADISH

PIKE COUNTY, IN - A service celebrating the life of Marie Gladish, 92, will be held at 12 noon Monday, September 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Dr. Murry Hodge. Visitation in Shreveport will precede the service Monday beginning at 10:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, IN. Marie was born on August 17, 1922 and passed away on September 10, 2014. She married the love of her life, Simon E. Gladish, in 1942 in Seattle, WA. Marie was a practical nurse at Welborn Clinic in Evansville, IN. She spent the last four years living in Keithville, LA with Ronald and Georgia Gladish, her son and daughter-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry E. Gladish; parents, Wallace and Flora Woolsey; brother, Herbert Woolsey, and grandchild, Bryan. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronald W. Gladish and his wife, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gladish; grandchildren, Dr. Gregory, Dr. Reginald, Nicholas, Aaron, and Jason; great-great grandsons, Grayson, Garrett, and Grant; great-granddaughters, Hannah, Hope and Galen.
