Marie Griffin Parker

Graveside services for Marie G. Parker will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating will be Bro. Richard Methvin, her long-time pastor and friend.

Marie was born November 22, 1929, in Winnfield, Louisiana and she joined her husband Thomas in heaven on July 25, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Parker, Jr. son Steven Parker, daughter Terri Parker, and grandchildren Casey and Marci Adcock.

She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Whatley and husband Ronnie of Minden and Sally Pope and husband John of McKinney, Texas, additionally she loved each of her five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

The family is forever grateful to Passages Hospice and the caring staff at Town and Country.
