Marilyn Jane Heath

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Marilyn Jane Masters Heath, age 76, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with family friend, Ransom Ashley officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East, St. Vincent Blvd. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Marilyn was born on May 14, 1940 in Many, LA to Walter James Masters and Alice Eason Masters and passed away on August 29, 2016. Things that brought her tremendous joy were gardening and sewing, but nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice Masters, and a son, Richard "Happy" Heath. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Russell "Rusty" Heath; her daughter, Robin Heath Bradford and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Chris Heath, Gabrielle Heath, Scott Bradford, Chelsea Bradford; great-grandchild, Laken Bless Heath; brothers, Charles Masters and wife, Jerry Ann, Kevin Masters, and Keith Masters and his wife, Diane; sisters, Carolyn Dubois and her husband, Richard, Clydie Parker and her husband, Danny, and Ginger Slocum; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to say a special thanks to the Dr's, nurses and staff at Heritage Manor South and Cornerstone Hospital for all the care, support and love they gave to our mother.
