SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for M.O. Lee, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, with Pastor Darrell Dean officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, LA after the funeral. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. M.O. was born August 25, 1932 in Southmayd, Texas to J.D. and Aynes Akins Lee. M.O. served in the US Army during the Korean War and honored with the Purple Heart. Self employed as a welder for 30 years his hobbies were hunting, welding, gardening and watching football along with many other sports. A devoted grandfather, M.O. loved his grandchildren. M.O, was preceded in death by his parents and one son Danny Lee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Toshiko Lee; son James Morris (Elizabeth), three daughters; Tine Lee, Patricia Wiggins (Blake) and Barbara Smith (Darryl). His grandchildren Laura and Hunter Morris, Rebecca, Grace, Emily and Anna Wiggins, Jenna and Owen Smith. Honoring M.O. as pallbearers will be James Morris, Hunter Morris; Blake Wiggins, Darryl Smith, Carl Lewis and Mike Simmons. Honorary pallbearer will be Lonnie Dunn. In lieu of flowers: Donate to the Lottie Moon offering at Providence Road Baptist Church or Broadmoor Baptist Church. The Family would like to thank the staff at Willis Knighton Pierremont and Life Care at Willis-Knighton Pierremont.
