GLOSTER, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Marjorie Jolley, 89, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Springhill Cemetery, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be her son Robert Jolley. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Marjorie was born on April 28, 1925 in Bullard, TX and passed away on June 23, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was a resident of Gloster, LA and retired from Willis-Knighton as a nurse's aide. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Jolley; parents, William Cottrell and Melinda Pitts; sister, Mildred Walker; brother, Milton Cottrell; daughters, Roseanna Litton and Elizabeth Jolley; great-grandchild, Bryson Jolley. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert David Jolley and wife Sandra; brother, Billy Cottrell and wife, Barbara; sisters, Faye Hayes and Joy Lennon; grandchildren, Trischel Moncayo and husband, Martin; Robert Lynn Myers, Elizabeth Songer and husband, Mark; Kimberly Butler and husband, Joe; Robin Jolley, Jesse Jolley, Robert Jolley; great-grandchildren, Cade Castillo, Josue Moncayo, Burgandie Myers, Natas Myers, Jason Songer and wife, Ashley; Heather Songer, Hannah Songer, Jayla Songer, Joey Butler, Jacob Butler, Wyatt Cole, Samantha Cole, Lily Cole, Zachary, and Vincent; great-great-grandchildren, Luke Songer, Abigail Butler and Baby to be Songer; numerous nieces and nephews.
