Mark Branch

Haynesville, LA - Funeral services were held for Mark Branch, age 70, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Old Town Cemetery of Haynesville. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mark was born September 26, 1946 to William and Era Sayers Branch in Magnolia, AR. He entered into rest Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Homer following a brief illness. Mark was a family man who adored his children and his grandchildren. Mark loved to hunt and fish, as well as he loved music and played the drums. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and by an infant brother. He is survived by his loving wife Carlene Branch, son Jason Branch and wife Stephanie, daughter Sharon Dragland and husband Johnny, grandchildren Kasey Williams, John Michael Dragland, Matthew Dragland and Nicholas Branch, and by his aunt Jeannie Gilbert and husband Jack. The family would like to thank Trinity Home Health, Minden Medical Acute Rehab, Northwest Hospice, Debra Woodard, FNP, Dr. Salmon and his staff, Dr. Scott Haynes and CMMC emergency room and ICU staff. For friends considering memorials honoring Mark, his family suggests the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Claiborne Academy.
