Funeral Services for Mark G. Ellis, 61, will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, Texas. Mark was born on September 11, 1956 to Loretta Ginnings Ellis and Blanton Marcom Ellis in Shreveport, La and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 23, 2018. Mark was employed at Eagle Distributing for over 30 years. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, cooking, watching NASCAR and the Texas Rangers. His favorite place to be was the beach. He never met a stranger and had many friends. Left to cherish Mark's memories are his father and mother; daughters, Jilian Ellis and Taylor Ellis; brother, James Patrick Ellis; sister, Beverly Ellis Stark; niece, Destin Young; nephews, Matt Young and Quentin Moon; great niece, Ava Tanner; great nephew, Braxton Young and close friend, Nancy Larsen. Honoring Mark as pallbearers will be his coworkers from Eagle Distributing of Shreveport, LA.
