Mark Dean "Louvie" Louviere

Mark Dean Louviere, 59, passed away on May 1, 2023 at his residence in Many, Louisiana. He was born on May 17, 1963 to Farrell Louis Louviere, Sr. and Joann (Aunson) Louviere in Houma, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann (Aunson) Louviere. He is survived by his father, Farrell Louviere, Sr. & stepmother, Sharon Louviere; his sister, Christie Norvell & husband, Dewey of Willis, TX; his brothers, Ricky Louis Louviere & wife, Sheila of Houma, LA, and Farrell Louis Louviere of Denver, CO; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Louvie grew up on the bayous of South Louisiana where he learned to fish, hunt, and…SURF! After spending a few years in Panama City Beach, Florida, he moved to Hawaii where he lived out his dreams of surfing and playing the blues. He had an unforgettable personality and had friends worldwide. He eventually moved back to Louisiana to help his mother, Joann Bailey. He remained in Louisiana where he spent the rest of his life playing the blues and caring for his pets. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Mark June 3, 2023 in Houma, Louisiana at Chauvin Funeral Home. In addition, a farewell service will also be held in Hawaii for him, date and time of this service is pending.
