Bethany, LA- A memorial service celebrating the life of Mark A. White will be held in Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rhodes from The Simple Church. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014. Mark was born on March 6, 1958 to Ross and Jean White in Shreveport, LA. He passed away on December 8, 2014. Mark enjoyed his family, children, grandchildren, and friends. He loved the outdoors as a fisherman. Mark's favorite past time was supporting LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football. In support of Mark's favorite teams his family invites everyone to dress in team attire for the memorial service. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicky Dowden; and beloved step-mother, Ethel Marie Shirley Alexander White. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann King White; son, Clinton Alan White and wife Sarah; daughter, Christy Jean McClure and husband, David; former wife and mother of their children, Janet White Horne; grandchildren, Mason James Ingram, Madison Lorraine Ingram, Paige Elizabeth Breedlove, Payton Alan White; brothers, Glen White, Earl Alexander and Renee Fanning; sisters, Janet Ford and husband, Tim, Tina White, Sandra Frith and husband, Steve, Tina McManis and husband, Rusty, Terry McIlwain and husband, Jim; best friend, Randy Berry and wife, Sheila, and special friend Kerry Futch; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and his and Patti's beloved dog, Scooter. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, The Simple Church, or to the donor's choice.
