BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for Marteal Gould Gamble, 90, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Gamble Cemetery in Grand Cane, LA. Her son, Pastor David Gamble will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.
Marteal was born January 8, 1927 in Bossier City, LA to Herbert and Velma Gould and passed away on March 31, 2017. Marteal was a long time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a devoted member of Wood Springs Baptist Church.
Marteal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ira Gamble, Sr., and son, George W. Gamble. She is survived by her sons, Ira Gamble, Jr. and wife, Rozlyn, Hub Gamble and wife, Jo, Mark Gamble and wife, Kim and David Gamble and wife, Kristi; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, James Gould and Holice Gould; sisters, Nina Skannel and Laverne McLeland; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Honoring Marteal as pallbearers will be, Will Gamble, Michael Gamble, Dana Gamble, Isaiah Poindexter, Jacob Gamble, and Nick Mascari.
