Martha Ann Stinson

Funeral services for Martha Ann Calcote Stinson, 84, will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Jerry Kennedy. Martha was born on June 5, 1937 to Donald Lee Calcote and Vivian Williams Calcote in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Shreveport. Martha was a resident of Shreveport and worked in the Real Estate and Property Management Industry in Shreveport and Houston before retiring. She loved to travel to national parks and to the beach. Martha was a great listener. She was very lovable and loved by many. Martha used to like to say, "Married young and grew up with my kids." She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patty Purkey; and grandson, Jamie Edmonson. Left to cherish her memory is her spouse, William Stinson; two sons, William C. Stinson, Jr. and Jerry Donald Stinson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
