Martha Bradford

Celebrating the Home Going of Martha Bradford will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana at 3:00 p.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Bishop G.V. Williams.

Martha was born March 1, 1955, to Louis and Helen Bradford, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away On Sunday, August 6, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Martha came into this world alongside her identical twin sister Mary. Imagine the joy her parents felt to find out they were having twins. Twice the blessings, twice the fun, two miracles instead of one. Martha accepted Christ at an early age. Her faith never changed. She truly loved the lord.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Left to cherish her memory are her twin sister, Mary Bradford, and husband, Gary of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Gregory Bradford, and wife, Rhonda, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Donald Bradford of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jerry Bradford, and wife, Pam; uncles, Hoyle “Willie” Sampson, Wardell, and wife, Callie Coutee; nephews, Cecil Bradford, and wife, Shantell, Gary Williams Jr., and wife, Delisha; very special friend and roommate, Marie Moxley, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to each of you for the love, support, and kindness shown during their time of bereavement. Your calls, cards, and especially your prayers have sustained and encouraged them in ways that words can’t adequately express. They would also like to extend special thanks to the staff and caretakers at Southern Ingenuity, in Homer, Louisiana, A. Busby, from MLK, in Dallas, Texas, and Step of Faith Church, in Dallas, Texas.
