Shreveport, LA - Graveside services for Martha Ann Beckham Cook, age 76 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Gateway Cemetery in Vivian, LA with Rev. Jody Dempsey officiating. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, February 14^th from 6-8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. Martha Ann was born on October 17, 1941 in Vivian, LA and passed away February 12, 2018 at North Caddo Medical Center, Vivian, LA after a lengthy illness. She was member of the First Assembly of God Church in Vivian, LA. Martha Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus James and Lola Mae Beckham; son, Jeffery Norsworthy; brother, Bennie Beckham and daughter-in-law, Kathy Swarers. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Tom "Papa" Cook of Shreveport, LA; sons, Johnny Swarers of Linden, TX, Tony Swarers and wife, Lisa of Lafayette, LA, Michael Norsworthy and wife, Kristy of Shreveport, LA and Chad Cook and wife Misty of Oil City, LA; daughters, Jordan Paige Norsworthy of Shreveport, LA and Kellee Dickey and husband, Kyle of Oil City, LA; sisters, Betty Swarers, Barbara Stanley and husband, Charles, and Patsy Williams and husband, Ed all of Vivian, LA; Jamie Beckham and wife Kathy and Larry Beckham and wife, Patricia both of Vivian, LA. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Justin, William, Rachel, Sarah, Devan, Jordan, Brennen, Addison and Dylan and 10 great grandchildren. Honoring Martha Ann as pallbearers will be Timmy Stanley, Tommy Stanley, Justin Norsworthy, Brennen Norsworthy, Butch Barr and Baron Barr. Honorary pallbearer will be Chad Cook and Rickey Stanley. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Walker May and the staff of North Caddo Medical Center for all their love and compassion.
