Funeral services for Martha Griffing King will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Keith Adcock, Rev. Corky Puckett, and Rev. Jimbo Yocom officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church. Martha was born January 19, 1935 in Natchez, Mississippi and entered into rest April 12, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gay Jackson Wallett; father, Andrew Morris Griffing; first husband, Truman Marvin King; second husband, Grover Bedenbender; sons, Keith Marvin King, Sr. and Kenneth Wayne King; daughter, Rose-Marie King; granddaughters; Sarah Marie King Scoggins and Noel Leone King; brother, Andrew Griffing and sisters; Earline Partridge, Pearline Cosby, Juanita Freeman, and Marguerite White. She is survived by her son, Michael King and wife Patty; daughter-in-law, Doris Ann King; grandchildren, Keith M. King, Jr. and wife Laura, Annette King and husband Josh, Michael Smith and wife Jana, Marianna King, Jo Anna King, Pamela Irby and husband Derek, and Kelli King; great-grandchildren, Kyle King, Jason Lee and girlfriend Sarak Olejniczak, Josh Lee, Austin King, Kaelyn Smith, Saige Smith, Ella Smith, Kristian Scoggins, Schelby Scoggins, Baily Irby, Beau Irby, Tevyn Moffett, Tanner King, and great great-grandchild, Kymber McGee.
