Martha "Marty" Lynn Reid

Martha “Marty” Lynn Reid, age 70, passed away on June 6, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on January 12, 1954, in Shreveport to David Robert and Eula Mae Youngblood.

Graveside services honoring the life of Marty will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 located at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Dr. Ivy Shelton. 

Marty was a homemaker and enjoyed playing piano. She was preceded in death by parents, David and Eula Youngblood; brother, David Wayne Youngblood; and sister, Celester Meek. Left to cherish her memory include daughter, Monica Cook; son, Jason Brown; and sisters, Linda Carol Bower, Sandra Diane Youngblood, and Kathy Delois Goodwill; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
