Martha DeLoach Savell

Funeral services will be held for Martha DeLoach Savell on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Frank DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends at 11:00 A.M. prior to time of service. Martha was born on October 6, 1930 in Dubberly, Louisiana to Jessie Tolliver DeLoach and Mary Lydia (Boyce) DeLoach. She entered the gates of Heaven on June 1, 2021 after serving God and her family well. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She deeply and unconditionally loved all of her family. She will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jiles Franklin "Pete" Savell; sons William Clint Savell and Jerry Savell; daughter-in-law, Jeri Savell; granddaughter, Kayla Ruth Breland; grandson, Jonathan Rumby; and great-grandson Silence Key; brothers, Jessie E. DeLoach, James DeLoach, Lee DeLoach, and Steve DeLoach; and sisters, Mary Cox, Kitty Sue Vercher, and Louise Wallett. She is survived by her sons, Claude F. "Pete" Savell, Sammy A. Savell (Rheba), Steve L. Savell (Darlene); daughter, Diana Barkley (Walter); sisters, Darryl Lewis, Kathleen Pittman, Ruth Williams, Betty Hasty, and Rosie McClung; brother, Gene Deloach (Ann); grandchildren, Twanna (Domino), Clint, Ethan, Raliegh, Amy (Kenneth), Calvin (Maggie), Genny (Carter), Kadie (Irwin), Angelika, Courtney, and Tina; great-grandchildren, Stormi, Whisper, Kadin, Megan, Trey, Caleb, Jacob, Joshua H., Andre', Savannah (Johnny), Jeffrey, Shellie, Joshua M., Kristyn (Wayne), and Sarah; great-great-grandchildren, Alexia, Maci Lou, Evalynn, and Evangeline; and a host of nieces and nephews. Plus, her loving church family of North Acres Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Clint Breland, Raliegh B. Walker II, Calvin Walker, Dominic Davis, Raliegh B. "Trey" Walker III, and Jacob Hasty.
