Martha Lou Trimble

Funeral services celebrating the life of Martha Lou Trimble, 87, of Converse, Louisiana, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 94 Fellowship Cir, Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Lynn Burkett. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana.

Martha was born on June 22, 1936, to Lucy and Woodrow Magee and passed away on August 17, 2023.

Preceding Martha in death are her husband, Richardson S. Trimble; her parents; brother, Henry Seth Magee; first husband, Charles Arlon Cates; and son Dennis Ray Cates.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Charles Anthony Cates; daughters, Leah Dianne Trimble, and Tonia Hubbard Cates; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jeanette Magee; grandchildren, Anthony Seth Cates (Tunde), Teresa Blackmon (Casey), Sharon Boothe (Brian), Makayla Rolon (Stanley), Zachary Cates, Elizabeth Zulak (Sebastian), Isaiah Cates, Hanna Novaleen Collins, and McKennon Bragg; seven great grandchildren; and special nephew, Michael Magee.

Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be Anthony Cates, Casey Blackmon, Stanley Rolon, McKennon Bragg, Micheal Magee, and Sidney Johnson.
