Martin T. Land

BIVINS, TEXAS - Graveside services celebrating the life of Martin T. Land, age 83 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Good Exchange Cemetery, McLeod, TX with Dr. Barry Carter, pastor of Walnut Hill Baptist Church officiating. Military grave rites will be observed. Mr. Land was born in Good Exchange, TX on April 27, 1933 to Lokey and Rubie Terry Land and passed away on December 23, 2015 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was a driller in the oilfield, a US Marine Corps and US Air Force Veteran. Mr. Land was a resident of Bivins, TX. Mr. Land was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Sarah and Katherine and brother, Wade. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Keene and Kim Barr and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler and Kelsey and husband, Jake; great grandchildren, Landry and Carleigh. His siblings, William, James and Mary Lou, also survive him. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to: Good Exchange Baptist Church, P. O.
