Marvin Coffman

A graveside service for Marvin Coffman will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Bissell Chapel Cemetery, Bissell Cemetery Rd, New Hope, Arkansas on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. A visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Joe Ray Short.

Marvin was born on September 2, 1939 in New Hope, Arkansas to Jewell and Eaver Coffman and passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 in Keithville, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Coffman and sons, Brian Coffman and Adrian Coffman. Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, Maxine Lowery; daughter, Tammy Jo Duggan and husband, Ricky; grandson, Jeremy Luke Taylor and granddaughter, Miranda Dell Taylor.

Honoring Marvin as pallbearers will be Charlie Smith, Benny Simmons, Ricky Duggan, Ronnie Joe Bissell, Greg Smith and Sid Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
