IDA, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Lou Addie age, 87, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Line Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Ida LA with Rev. Mark Crook, pastor of Trees Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Line Creek Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Monday, May 30th at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA from 6-8 pm.
Mary Lou Addie was born Sept. 4, 1928 to Henry and Maude Rowan in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She married her husband Rev. Charles Addie on July 2, 1949. She went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 27, 2016 in Vivian, La.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bob and Bill Rowan; her husband and two sons, Randy and Gary Don; and a great-granddaughter, Aley Gilmore.
Mrs. Addie is survived by her son Dennis Addie and wife Peggy of Ida, La. and her daughters
Anita Young and husband Scotty of Ida, La. and Peggy Gilmore and husband C.J. of Vivian, La.
Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Lee Sullivan, Nikki Smith, Missy Moore, Clint Gilmore, Charlie Addie, Jeremy Addie, Cody Addie, Annie Terry, and Billy Young; as well as a host of great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Gwen Rowan of Benton, Arkansas as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lee, Clint, Cody, Jeremy, Billy, John Moore and Matt Terry.
Honarary pallbearers are Charlie Addie, Doug Rowan and David Smith.
