Mary Lou Belcher

Graveside services for Mary Lou Belcher will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Shady Grove Cemetery near Haynesville Louisiana with Randall Brewster officiating. Mary Lou was born October 24, 1933 in Haynesville, Louisiana and entered into rest June 1, 2021 in Homer, Louisiana. Mary Lou loved the Lord, her Savior and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Haynesville. She filled her days with music, precious memories, and adventures shared by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Billy Ray Belcher and grandson, Benji Shoemake. She is survived by her son Randy Belcher and wife Charlotte of Galveston, Texas; daughters, Deborah Brewster and husband Chester of Bossier City, Teri Shoemake and husband Ben of Alvin, Texas, Risa Johnston and husband Rene of Shongaloo, and Rene Mills and husband Mike of Minden; grandchildren, Troy, Jennifer, Aaron, Randall, Amy, Justin, Vince, and Alex; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. The family would like to thank Dr. Cliff Salmon, Camille Wise, FNP and the entire Claiborne Memorial Medical Center family for their care and kindness through this journey.
