Mary P. Bonnette, also known as Polly, Mom, Momma, Meme, Aunt, and Sister, will forever be remembered by her husband of 60 years, Jewel M. Bonnette; sister, Cathy Almand; daughters, Kellie Emory and husband, Jay, and Korie Harrison and husband, Archie; grandchildren, Colby Bryant and wife, Amanda, Tyler Harrison, and wife, Brandice, Trent Harrison and wife, Anna, and Riley Shy; great-grandchildren, Grayson Bryant, Stella Harrison, Georgia Harrison, Wesley Harrison, Hayden Dupree, Annabelle Harrison, and Rhyder Harrison; nephews, Mark Wilkinson and wife, Tracy, Jack Wilkinson and wife, Sheila, along with great-nieces and nephews, Brody, Nicholas, Kaylyn, Chelsea and Justin.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Clotile Allen Walsworth; father, Elijah W. Walsworth; sisters, Patricia Lindley, and Sue Wall; brother, Charles Hall; grandson, Kyle Bryant, and nephew, Scott Wilkinson.

Mary was born on February 26, 1946, in Jonesboro, Louisiana. She was a housewife for many years before she started driving a school bus for Caddo Parish. She retired after 29 years of loving her job and all her precious schoolchildren.

Mary enjoyed playing tennis with many of her friends, playing volleyball with her church family, and coaching softball with her girls and their friends. She also found enjoyment in gardening in her flowerbeds. She even named each one of her roses. Mary spent many years traveling back and forth to see her sister, Sue, and her family, usually exchanging furniture back and forth and shopping at Old Time Pottery.

Mary was always full of energy and was ready to take on any DIY project. Mostly it was to keep “Daddy” busy, but also because she absolutely loved designing and building all while in his company. She always said the two of them could do anything.

She was a Godly woman with the bluest eyes, always putting God first and sharing his word with friends and family. She loved her girls, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all she had, but her most cherished loving relationship was the one she shared with her best friend and love of her life, Jewel “Daddy”.

Her legacy will live on through her family and the many things that they learned from her. She will never be far from their thoughts and forever be in their hearts.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Camp Rainman of Northwest Louisiana, https://sites.google.com/site/camprainmanofnwlouisiana and St. Jude, www.stjude.org
