Mary "Chris" Christine Brossette

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services for Mary Christine "Chris" Doughty Brossette, 62, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor Jeff Segner officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Chris was born June 11, 1955 in Shreveport to Milton and Mary Doughty and passed away on September 15, 2017 in Shreveport. She was a retired sales representative. She was a member of Springs of Grace Baptist Church. Chris was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Randy Brossette. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Casey Brossette and wife, Kristin; daughter, Amber Robinson and husband, Ben; grandchildren, John Brooks Brossette, Beau Brossette, Emma Robinson, and Max Robinson; and sisters, Kathy Hunt and husband, Shannon, and their daughter, Kelly Moeller, and Stacey Dancy and husband, Roxy. Pallbearers will be Cliff Roberts, Bo Roberts, Mike McGuirt, Robert Pirtle, Roxy Dancy, and Shannon Hunt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to donor's choice. Her children would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of The Oaks of Louisiana and her loving sisters.
