Mary Ella Callihan

HOMER, LA: Funeral services will be held for Mary Ella Odom Callihan, 87, at the Colquitt Community Church in Colquitt, LA on Monday, November, 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Willard Moore, officiating. Interment will follow at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the Colquitt Community Church, 8590 Hwy. 2 Alternate, Haynesville, LA 71038. Mrs. Callihan, affectionately known as Sis or Aunt Sis, was born April 2, 1927 at the family home in Colquitt to Paul Jones Odom and Beatrice Wise Odom. She entered into rest Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center following a short illness. Sis was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William "Chuck" Callihan; her parents; one son, Robert William "Bob" Callihan; one brother, Elton Odom and one sister, Nanette Busby. She is survived by one son, Mike Callihan of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one grandson, Sean Callihan of Houston, TX; one sister, Judy Chatham of Pearl, MS; two brothers, Roy Odom and wife, Shirley and Howard Odom and wife, Jimmy Sue, all of Colquitt; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives' and friends.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Odom, Jesse Bailey, Steve Busby, Rusty Busby, Jeff Blackwell and Pat Bailey.
